Of all the things to do in Orlando, that are not theme park, Star Trek Exhibit Orlando gets top billing. Star Trek was my favorite TV show as I was growing up in the 1960's 1970's. This long running franchise remains a popular favorite today!
Star Trek the Exhibit is a walkthrough , museum-like exhibit that houses costumes, props and other relics from all the movies and TV series ranging from Star Trek the Original Series to Star Trek Enterprise and beyond.

Eating out at the Orlando restaurants is among the easiest of things to do in Orlando. The Orlando newspaper (the Orlando Sentinel) is a place for coupons if that is your thing. As for me, clipping coupons is not one of them! Orlando Coupons on this page at Orlandowise.com has some pretty good deals.

4Rivers Smokehouse is a laid back, Texas style smokehouse that offers lunch and dinner every day of the week except for Sunday.

Kim Wu Chinese Restaurant atmosphere is very soothing and quiet with soft Chinese instrumental music playing and beautiful Chinese decorations placed strategically throughout the restaurant. The Restaurant appears up scale without actually being truly up scale. Kim Wu having been in business for more than thirty years is well experienced in making an authentic Chinese meal. Prices are reasonable for the portions that you receive.

Sloppy Taco Palace, better known as STP, is a bar and restaurant
known for its tacos. Do not be worried by its unusual name. STP takes
this name because of their best selling food; their sloppy tacos. These
special tacos have a special sauce poured over them making this one of more enjoyable things to do in Orlando. These tacos come in
beef, chicken or steak.
STP is located in the Kirkman Shoppes on
the corner of Kirkman and Conroy Rd. and is easily accessible by three
LYNX buses: Links 21 and 40 from downtown Orlando and Link 37 from the
Florida Mall. It is also accessible by Link 37 coming from Pine Hills
and Hiawassee and Link 21 coming from the Dr. Phillip’s Hospital area.

Vitos Chop House atmosphere is very up scale and romantic. This restaurant is perfect
for a special occasion such as an anniversary or proposal. This
restaurant is very couple oriented but is not meant for children. It is
perfect for that special night out.
Vito’s Chop House, located at 8633 International Drive Orlando, Florida
32819 is a steak house with an Italian flare. The service, atmosphere
and food were all a new experience. Vito’s is accessible by Link 8, 38,

Of all of our favorite things to do in Orlando this section will cover eating out and our favorite is eating out restaurant is at Disney's Artist Point Restaurant at Disney Wilderness Lodge.
The Pacific Northwest is my heritage (and Alaska) and Artist Point serves specialties from the Pacific Northwest where the focus is on seafood, sirloins and game.
Inspiration is drawn from the sprawling dining rooms found in the national park lodges across the Pacific Northwest, British Columbia, Washington State, and Oregon.
The award winning wine list at Artist Point contains selections from Washington State, Oregon, and the Greater Pacific Northwest wineries. Available by the glass or bottle.
Elegant Artist Point offers a warm, relaxed atmosphere where the beautiful murals and paintings capture the spirit and romance of the American frontier.
Ornate iron lanterns are suspended from tremendous timber columns.
Disney's web site says that the average bill per person is $36.00 to $59.99, however the last time my daughter and I was there the bill for the two of us was over $130.00, and in my opinion, well worth it!
I got the kitchen's signature dish, cedar plank-roasted salmon. The salmon melts in my mouth!
Our waiter revealed to us that there are only two places on the east coast that get the fresh salmon immediately after catching it in the spring. One restaurant in New York and Artist Point. April and early May is the time to make your reservations for this "fresh" salmon! When your are looking for things to do in Orlando... ...Be sure to ask at the time that you make reservations!
If this is one of the things to do in Orlando:
To make reservations, book online or call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 up to 180 days prior to your visit.
