Orlando Cheap Hotels that are not in the tourist area. Also, these are not near the Orlando Orange County Convention Center. These hotels are south of downtown Orlando but northeast of Downtown Disney and they are almost like:
This page (the one you are looking at right now) is our favorite Orlando Cheap Hotels for business (for lack of a better explanation) and "Other" travelers...
Instead of using the in room kitchens (the rooms are smallish by the way), we'd usually eat breakfast at the nearby Burger King.
Being here a week, we got to know our neighbors - these were mostly housing construction workers. I, having done construction work in my college years, understand this group, electricians, plumbers, etc.
We did not take advantage of the Outdoor pool with sun-deck except for conversations.

I stayed at Safar Inn (not safari) the 2nd time that I moved [back] to Orlando as I was starting what would become my 4th successful business (Please see my About Me Orlandowise.com page)- That successful business is "Advertising on the Internet"!
I was here before I "moved" to The Gator Motel.
The managers got to [kinda] know me as I got a cup of coffee before I went to "work" at the local library to update new links on my web site that advertised campers, motor homes and other rv's.
I could work only 2 hours a day at the library! I'd HAD in mind to write a booklet that would be for sale about "earning my way in 2 hours a day". Then my advertiser changed the way they did things with affiliate publishers ([me]). And now that "way" would no longer produce results... ...so, I didn't FINISH writing it. So, I didn't sell this booklet.
I decided that I would not Sell a booklet with a method that was soon going to stop working. Oh well. One less booklet about how to make money on the Internet that now or soon, its method will not work. Who'd notice?
My non-smoking room did not smell of smoke and was clean when I arrived, and cleaned well when it was serviced (see below)...
I didn't get to know the staff very well as I'd ask that the room be cleaned once a week only in order to get a better rate for staying there. However, what little time that I'd see them they were friendly.
Wendy's (with its $0.99 value menu) is immediately across the street as is Winn-Dixie (a grocery store). Microwave meals in walking distance. ---- Can you ask for better when you're on a "tight" budget?
