show me a time that you would NOT have wanted your parents to have bought it for you as a child!

Now (if you do NOT now own DIS) all of the time since then
you chose to NOT BUY AND HOLD IT!
Why? (Only you know the answer!)

As for the Current Quarter:

First A word of caution:
Despicable Me 2 (Universal) is set to release July 3, too! (I do not understand the popularity of Minion's yet I do accept that they are popular for reasons unknown [by me]!)

All of the “talking down” DIS stock price by CFO Jay Rasulo, mentions, among other things, “The Lone Ranger” being released July 3, after the current quarter ends!

YET,
No Mention of “Monsters University” being release BEFORE the current quarter ends!

hm...

(as discussed previously on this blog!)...

It is not always “what they say”
but
“what they do not say”!
Notice, too, that Jim Cramer (in the video) does not mention Comcast the parent company of NBC Universal (& therefore, CNBC)!!!!

Now back to Investors:
I doubt that Minion's have as much long term value as Mickey Mouse (or Wookies or Ewoks for that matter)! I also doubt Universals ability to recognize, promote, monetize and realize that value just in case they do have lasting appeal!

Orlando, FL (Orlandowise.com) May 6, 2013 | Orlandowise : Opening week-end box office estimates for Iron Man 3™ were $135-$170 million, yet with it breaking records by its $175.3 domestic opening, placing it second behind the number 1 Marvel's The Avengers and ahead of Number 3 Warner Brothers "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" and its $680 Million Worldwide Box Office total to date, production cost are covered.

As we have said for a long time, “If there are two franchises in the entertainment they are The Walt Disney Company and Time Warner Inc. If there is only one franchise, it is The Walt Disney Company.” The top 5 box office opening week-end have only these two distributors.

There is some hoopla at the theme park about Iron Man 3™ but not in Orlando! This is probably because of current contract requirements regarding Universal Studios Island of Adventure It is at Disneyland park with the new Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries at Innoventions. (Please see the video below)

For investors or stock traders is: Is it ahead of internal estimates and therefore making this films profits accretive to The Walt Disney Company earnings? That may be a question asked of The Walt Disney Company at Tuesdays earnings conference call after the market close on May 7 (http://thewaltdisneycompany.com/investors ).

Marvel's Iron Man 3 pits Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach is boundless. When Tony finds his personal world destroyed, he starts on his quest to find those responsible. This journey test his mettle at each juncture. His back against the wall, Tony is left to survive by his own intuitiveness and skills.

Protecting those closest to him he finds that he must rely on his own ingenuity and instincts. Fighting his way back, Tony discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Why is this important, Orlandowise? After the Avengers out performed Universals Spiderman, and Iron Man 3 may outperform The Avengers,

Expects (after the current contract expires...)
that Marvel Super Hero Island will stay at Universal Islands of Adventure and NOT move to The Walt Disney Companies Theme Parks?
In other word “Where do you suppose that The Walt Disney Company will get the best ROI?”

For that effort, let's give them a Hand. Solo effects Or Lando - Cal Risen Adventure for Star Tours and Disney's purchase of Lucasfilm Ltd. while we continue to Marvel at the DIS stock price.

While I do not expect the Epcot Icon changing to the Death Star like it was for Mike Wazowski I do expect to see more of this special effect for other things. How about the little floaty thing that Luke was “training with” while on the Millenium Falcon for the first time. Or the Lone Rangers badge! Is there anything a round in Iron Man III? Sure there is!

Was it a just in TIME WARNing,
BTW, Disney chose this time, after acquiring all of China to show Iron Man III (Opens May 3 in 2-D and 3-D in US AND 2-D in CHINA),
to explain to
AMC and Regal that their 800 2-D US movie screens
are less than
ALL OF CHINA's 2-D movie screens!
And AMC and Regal reached a deal with Disney to show Iron Man 3
So IS this saying directed to AMC and Regal
for now showing IRON MAN III, “May The Fourth Be With You”! Could this lead them to a Fifth? I fail to see Wine not?

Limited-edition “May The Fourth Be With You” specialty merchandise will be available at the event in Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Punny enough that probably ONLY Disney could have forced it to work.

The latest is for the movie Monsters University, opening in US theaters June 21, 2013.

The movie is about how Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, "Sulley" became friends, after both got kicked out of the Monsters University's elite Scare Program.

The all nighters at the:

Magic Kingdom in Orlando
where Mike and Sulley will be the
Grand Marshals of the “Celebrate a Dream Come True” day parade
Disneyland in California
and
Disney California Adventure

the parks stay open from 6 a.m., May 24 to 6 a.m., May 25, 2013, local time.

Limited-edition specialty merchandise will be available at all three parks during this all night Memorial Day (er Night) event.

The latest is for the movie Monsters University, opening in US theaters June 21, 2013.

The movie is about how Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, "Sulley" became friends, after both got kicked out of the Monsters University's elite Scare Program.

Based on the below trailer and others that we have seen, the movie:

and
featuring music from composer Randy Newman ("Monsters, Inc.," "Toy Story 3")

looks like another Disney winner to us.

Those buying the stock did not know about, or care for our opinion of the stocks price. The same may be said about The Motley Fools opinion of the stocks price!

The Motley Fool's compares SeaWorld (SEAS) to Six Flags (SIX) in this article: (http://beta.fool.com/valuemagnet/2013/04/24/this-amusement-park-operator-is-a-better-wager-tha/32318/?source=eogyholnk0000001 ) !

WE STILL plan on buying 4 shares:

√√√ it is now AFTER the IPO √√√
yet NOT AFTER any buzz (if that happens – it is happening this morning anyway) and has not died down yet
and
when and IF the stock price is not so expensive!

I (personally) plan to:

Keep 1 share for me
Give 1 share to my daughter
Give 1 share each to my 2 friends that are interested

This share purchase is for INFORMATION purposes not investment purposes.

So, as stated before here, just to keep up with SEAS, so that important developments will come to us and we do not have to look for them, while we wait for "something good" to show up when and if Blackstone relinquishes control.

The something missing that I previously mentioned, Is this sec order granting confidentially it (http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1564902/999999999713008422/filename1.pdf)? I doubt it!

Even with the extra 6,000,000 share offered by Blackstone, the prospectus (http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1564902/000119312513161702/d448022d424b4.htm) says, after the offering Blackstone will still control over 60% - the range is 63.3% to 67.5%

WE STILL plan on buying ONLY 4 shares AFTER the IPO and AFTER any buzz (if that happens) dies down and when and IF the stock price is not so expensive! This share purchase is for INFORMATION purposes not investment purposes. So, as stated before here, just to keep up with SEAS, so that important developments will come to us and we do not have to look for them, while we wait for "something good" to show up when and if Blackstone relinquishes control.

This (below) video shows The Motley Fool's take on the SEAS IPO, in comparision to DIS, SIX, FUN. (Did you notice what "SERVICES-MISCELLANEOUS AMUSEMENT AND RECREATION [7990]" company in Orlando that is not mentioned in the VIDEO?)

P.S. I did not mention Scott D. Helmstedter's 49, the Chief Creative Officer, SEC Form 4 filing, (http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1564902/000118143113022917/xslF345X03/rrd377163.xml) did I? 17,969 shares at a cost of $0.00 per share. We still believe he is UNDER-paid! Anyway, somehow my form 4 must have fell behind the copier at the SeaWorld Corp. offices ;)
