From the most magical Orlando accommodation, to the most family budget friendly Orlando cheap hotels, choosing wisely create unforgetable memories of your lifetime! The most popular vacation destination in the world, accommodations are well, “accommodating” for the diversity that stay in them!
For the vacationing tourist - from the “tent” camper at Fort Wilderness to the Grand Floridian, → Disney World Vacations have you “covered”... ...Enough of the puns? OK!
For those considering accommodations off Disney Property yet plan to go to the Disney Theme Parks.
The current daily parking fee is:
- Automobile, taxi, limo or motorcycle: $14 USD
- Camper, trailer or RV: $15 USD
The Orlando Cheap Hotels for business and "Other" that we like for travelers are here. Among the cheap Orlando hotels, Days Inn Orlando, Condos in Orlando and Orlando House Rentals that we like (Kissimmee → 6 miles to the nearest entrance to Disney World - actually parking your car at Disney is still further) is the Gator Motel.
Located within walking distance to The Medieval Times attraction, the Gator Motel is our favorite of the cheap hotels in the Orlando Accommodation! For our full review of the Gator Motel, Click Here.
Not a cheap hotel not a Deluxe Accommodation right sized in the middle is:
The Peabody Hotel Orlando , the Rosen Plaza Hotel Orlando (or simply Rosen Plaza) are among the Deluxe hotels for Conventions.
The JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes Orlando accommodation is an OK Meeting hotel and a pretty good Vacation location hotel.
Hard Rock Hotel is among the Deluxe Hotels at Universal. Live like a rock star, get the treatment of a superstar, at the exciting Hard Rock Hotel while staying in Orlando.
Taking advantage of the Disney Vacation Packages by staying at any Walt Disney World Orlando Resort is "deluxe" Orlando accommodation considering Disney World Transportation is provided - free to any other Walt Disney World attraction. Some (Walt Disney World camping, or Disney World RV park) Resorts (All Star Resorts and more...) are value priced.
The most Deluxe Orlando accommodation that we have stayed at to date is: The Contemporary Resort walking distance to the Magic Kingdom!
And we have stayed here more than once! Ease to get to the Magic Kingdom is the primary reason (not to mention that my daughter at 9 years old wanted to see the monorail as it went through)! Room prices as of this writing, range from $285 to $2,070!
Walt Disney Imagineer Mary Blair designed the 90-foot, floor-to-ceiling ceramic mural at the Disney Contemporary Resort. The "it's a small world" attraction at the Magic Kingdom theme park, she was also responsible for that distinct look and feel.
Chef Mickey's is a
buffet restaurant serving breakfast and dinner flavors—and your favorite
Disney Characters – While the monorail whisks by overhead!
It's non-smoking, and reservations are best ((407) WDW-DINE) although we have just walked in and ate breakfast with the characters! Prices as of this writing are $15 to $35.99 (Price range reflects estimated individual check average, except Character Dining and buffet locations where pricing is based on individual adult pricing. Excludes alcohol, tax, and gratuity. ).
Transportation to the
various Walt Disney World attractions is by Disney Bus, Disney Monorail
(or walking Magic Kingdom – my preferred way).
Transportation to and from Orlando International Airport is by Disney′s Magical Express (a bus) or Lynx bus #111 From the Magic Kingdom Transportation and Ticket Center (and monorail to/from here)!
This is just a general overview of the range of accommodations available. Even more Deluxe at Walt Disney World is Disney Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! But, I'll wait until I have stayed there before I write a review of it.
One of the accommodations commonly overlooked is the
Disney Cruise Ships.
Although, not in Orlando, a cruise ship is really a hotel that floats. Transportation to Port Canaveral is the Disney Cruise Line bus from your Walt Disney World Resort.
The Disney Dream has just been brought on live cruises. The largest of the Disney Cruise Ships. Its capacity is 4000.
Aquaduck is a water "roller coaster" ride on a ship, Mickey's Pirates and the Caribbean Party (an early evening party for the entire family) and later the Buccaneer Blast (fireworks), and Club Pirate (Guest DJ is spinning music) Captain Jack Sparrow may even be there.
Orlando House Rentals or Vacation Home Rental
are an alternative to hotels and or suites. This is a great choice for a large family or group or if extra privacy is the major consideration.
There is an Attractions Map on this web page to assist in finding a location that is suitable (Also, a downloadable PDF Travel Itinerary to plan or use on vacation or other travels).
Again, I must apologize, the RV rental and RV Park that my daughter and I rented and stayed for one summer is no longer in business. They sold as Target built a shopping center there. KOA, immediately beside them relocated enough to accommodate Target's new shopping center!
The Kissimmee/Orlando KOA, is a small campground and limited activities schedule. It is within walking distance to Target. The Park is clean, has Wi-Fi ($), Cable TV ($), Propane ($), Firewood ($), Bike Rentals ($), Pool, Hot Tub / Sauna, Pavilion. Not the best place to be (especially in a tent) if it rains! Less pricey than Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort Tent/Pop-Up campsite - which is 10 miles from here.
