The Medieval Times Orlando (really it is in or more near Kissimee) is within walking distance to one of my favorite Cheap Orlando Hotels - Gator Motel. Actually when I was living at The Gator Motel I did not go to even one of the unusual dinner show here. hm... And I could have easily afforded it then.
I am not one to dress up in a medieval outfit and pretend as are a lot of my younger friends. However the 11th century and a four-course feast provide an excellent opportunity and will ready you for the Battle of Champions®.
The shows commitment to the accuracy of weapons and costumes seems unchanged. Although I believe the Medieval actors because I would not know authenticity if I were looking at it.
Medieval pageantry and the classic equestrian skills remain authentic although the characters and storyline of the show evolve every now and then.
There are horses in this dinner show too. However, the training is different than Arabian Nights , this is much more how my horse was trained, although we did not participate in a jousting tournament. Yet, I do have a joust that I am battling without a horse.
So, if it has been a few years since you have seen this show, it may be a little different now.
Entrance is near mile marker 14 - 15 on Irlo Bronson Hwy (192). Lynx buses stop immediately in front of the dinner show and some parked cars are further away than the bus stop, especially on a busy night!
Link 55 and Link 56 are the two Lynx buses. Both are scheduled to stop here. Located between Walmart Super Center and The Gator Motel (both are easily recognizable if you are looking on the correct side of the street) just one bus stop from each!
