Hard Rock Orlando and Hard Rock Hotel Orlando

Hard Rock Orlando and Hard Rock Hotel Orlando are 2 different places!  When people say "Hard Rock" in Orlando they usually mean the Hard Rock Cafe and/or Hard Rock Live, both at City Walk! When People say "Hard Rock Hotel Orlando" they usually mean the on site hotel at Universal Studios on Universal Boulevard.

Hard Rock Orlando

To get to Hard Rock Cafe and Hard Rock Live, park at Universal Parking. The Parking garage is the largest in the world. Exit your car and proceed to the Power Walks going to CityWalk.

From the Bus, Taxi, Movie drop off, take the Up escalator or Elevator (it's hard to find - to the left of the escalators) and proceed to the Power Walks going to CityWalk.

From Valet Parking, take the up escalator, stairs or elevator and proceed to the Power Walks going to CityWalk.

When you enter CityWalk

You are still about as far away from Hard Rock as you can be and still be in CityWalk!

It is across the lagoon directly in front of you. CityWalk maps are available at guest services under and near the escalator.

When you get to the huge round TV in the middle of CityWalk (there may be maps there too), it's decision time turn left or turn right. Most turn right until Harry Potter opened then most turn left.

Hard Rock Hotel Orlando

5800 Universal Blvd, Orlando, FL

When arriving here stay on Universal Blvd until there are signs. Three big Guitars are on both sides of the entrance) can be covered by the landscaping. If you miss it just turn around and go back!

It entrance is across the street from Portofino Bay Hotel Entrance.

There are two ways to get to CityWalk, Hard Rock Live, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure.

• Water Taxi - This is a short ride and the Portofino Bay Hotel water taxi may pass you. Portofino is father away.
  This is a pleasant ride for me, water taxi is not fast an I can enjoy the view. A good captain/skipper may make the ride even more enjoyable!


• Walk - This is a short walk, the sidewalk is usually well maintained. The water taxi may not even pass if the walk is from Universal Studios!
