Something as important as "Disney Orlando Fl real estate investments" and I'm reading the Orlando Sentinel? In today's (12/24/2010) Orlando newspaper (yes, I read it sometimes - it doesn't take much to entertain me! - Well, I got it FREE at that time), there is a news story about Disney Orlando FL...
The newspaper had this:
"Disney Cuts 14 Jobs - 11 in Orlando."
Wow, I thought, that is the best "economic recession" news story that the Orlando Sentinel can report today!. hm..
Of the 64 jobs cut (now 53) this looks like normal restructuring to me and therefore not deserving of a news story. The Walt Disney Company is the largest single site employer in Florida.
After all, cost cutting is a normal part of business. When it is a press release and a headline story (I did not find this in pr newswire - only Orlando Sentinel, hm...) then I question if I really want to own this stock. The company is cost cutting and they can't have a news story about increasing revenue? (well, since this is not a press release from the company, that is NOT the case here) hm...
Regardless, I believe that it does have some impact upon Disney real estate in Orlando. So, back to Disney Orlando Fl real estate.
Golden Oak, street view - (click here to see Golden Oak at a Disney Web Site)!
This premium Disney Orlando real estate ($1 million to $8 million single family homes) is located near the Magic Kingdom, does not look threatened by this news story - as does not much of Disney Orlando Fl real estate controlled by Disney.
However, there are now 11 less people required to run business development and real estate. So, Disney is scaling down or slowing its expansion in Orlando Fl real estate.
So where is Disney expanding - Cruise ships (more on this later, hm... maybe), is one of the places.
Disney, now requires 11 less people (17%) in Orlando Fl real estate and business development. That leaves an opening for the aware Disney Orlando Fl real estate investor in premium real estate, doesn't it?
There is no competing with Disney for Disney Premium real estate. So, if you want to fight the competition here (ie. Disney), then it is our advice to structure yourself to earn more $'s by losing than by winning the competition fight! (Please see our article, "A Tale of Two Companies" Click Here - this story was published March 04, 2009, missing the bottom in Disney Stock in 2009 by only busines 5 days! [Written March 03, 2009, published March 04, bottom made on March 10! Please see 'DIS' Bigcharts.com's custom charts] ).
In FL:
are the alternatives to Disney - for Premium real estate, Orlandowise that is.
After all is said and done, everyone is not a Disney Freak, like me!
We have not identified an Orlando Fl real estate agent that we would use! So far, none are a "stand out" as the "Best".
So,...
We'll use our "angel investor" talents and portfolio management of public stocks talents, instead of a real estate agent until we find an Orlando Fl real estate agent that can do a better job than we can do for ourselves! (If you are a real estate agent, Please feel free to write you own "review" here, just identify yourself as a real estate agent in your review of yourself! - we'll edit it out! - and we may send someone to verify that your editorial about yourself is accurate!)
When we find a real estate agent that can do better than us, we'll recommend that agent here (we are not looking for MORE work, we are looking for LESS work, while keeping the same or more revenue.)!
To write a review about your favorite real estate agent, that may be later spotlighted here as the "best", then here is the place to be: (enter the title of your story and then the "rest of the story", you'll be allowed to edit and then publish your story (pending our approval, of course).
Do you have a great story about how an Orlando real estate agent helped you find your great Orlando real estate value? Please, Share it!
